About Nabeel

Nabeel which means ‘Noble’ in Arabic began operations in 1969, powered by its driving force, our Founder and Chairman, the charismatic Asghar Adam Ali (Al Attar). Over the decades, he has nurtured Nabeel, with a strong hand, making intelligent business decisions that are rooted in traditional values. And without any compromise on class and quality has brought forth the Fragrance of the Dunes to a world-class platform.

Although conceptualized in Yemen, Nabeel’s production activities as well as market have reached beyond the perimeters of the land of its birth and have helped the company grow into a global brand.

Nabeel set up shop with a manufacturing plant in Yemen, in 1990, Nabeel then moved to Sharjah UAE and began building its presence in the Emirates setting up a second factory of 30,000 square feet.

In 2002, a swanky new Corporate Building & Manufacturing plant was set up for logistical reasons at the upcoming prime location adjacent to the Sharjah International Airport known as SAIF Zone. Being inside a good freezone helps to save on import & export duties and paperwork. The company offices are also headquartered here. This is the premise where we now manufacture oriental perfumes in the form of bakhoors (Arabic incense), oils and sprays, packaged in premium materials with innovative designs that cater to the ever increasing demand from surrounding GCC markets and many other countries around the world.

Nabeel began with just a handful of employees, but as turnover increased every year, so did its strength. With great advances being made in manufacturing technology, and the emergence of global trade blocks, businesses today have to be highly cohesive in order to survive a market that is constantly in flux. Learning from the challenges being faced by its competitors, Nabeel ha fervently upgrade its manufacturing techniques and machinery to gain an edge over the other players in its space, in terms of the latest technologies available.

Now, with state-of-the-art manufacturing units and a Corporate Office in the SAIF Zone, Nabeel’s production capacity has grown manifold into a large scale output. The construction of an automated perfume manufacturing plant was initiated in 2008 and two years later became a fully functional unit that was inaugurated on the 19th of December 2010.

QUALITY

Quality to us is a way of life. It is the driving force behind our creations through every stage of production. We ensure that quality management systems are embraced through every level of our organization. We employ some of the most talented engineers, technicians, and executives and provide them with state of the art tools and training, to aid in the improvement of their craft. In order to ensure quality control, the production process is divided into three monitorable parts:

1. Incoming

2. Online Production

3. Pre-dispatch

1. Incoming:

Quality Control is a process that starts at the very beginning when we receive shipments of raw materials that go into the production of our perfumes.  Incoming Quality Control checking plays a vital role in helping us adhere to our strict quality standards. Our suppliers are hand-picked by us after stringent audits and surveys, and each and every consignment that comes in is thoroughly sampled, and accepted or rejected based on the quality.

This ensures that our obsession for quality stems from our choice of raw material itself. Sampling of incoming goods is carried out as per pre-defined incoming quality check standards and procedures, so that they meet the necessary parameters before clearance of the received consignment.

2. Online:

The practice of Quality Control is not only restricted to the beginning or end of the production process but also is practised through all the stages in between. This helps us test existing practices and improves efficiency as well as quality of the production process itself. In order to prevent the manufacture and packaging of defective products, we ensure that sampling takes place online, on the factory floor. The feedback from these online checks helps us in correcting minor flaws. Online inspection ensures upkeep of quality through every level of the process. It is conducted as per pre –set quality parameters and the knowledge of customer requirement. Online inspection enables us to ensure that the final product is free from functional and aesthetic defects.

3. Pre-dispatch:

The success of a product ultimately rests in a customer‘s interaction with it. It is imperative that Quality Control checks take place before dispatch of the product to ensure customer satisfaction. Pre-dispatch sampling helps us ensure that the finished goods that are being dispatched to our customers meet all quality and other customer requirements such as labeling, product marking etc. Pre-dispatch checking is to ensure that the FG quality and orders meet the customer’s requirement and defined quality norms.
